Now that the dust has settled after Klay Thompson’s sign-and-trade to the Dallas Mavericks, the Warriors are in the process of doing some major housecleaning.
As Danny Emerman and Dave McMenamin reported at the start of the California Classic at Chase Center, Golden State is selling its remaining inventory of Thompson jerseys at 50 percent off.

After contract extension negotiations stalled, Thompson joined Dallas in a six-team sign-and-trade deal, ending his legendary 13-year career in the Bay Area. Emotional tributes were posted by both sides, with Thompson and Golden State expressing their sincere gratitude for each other.
The Warriors displayed a “Thank You Klay Thompson” message on the video screen, and the PA announcer urged fans to purchase Klay jerseys “while supplies last.”

With the iconic Splash Brother gone, the Warriors will be shedding his iconic No. 11 jersey as the franchise heads into the 2024-25 NBA season with a new roster. Recent additions Buddy Hield, Kyle Anderson and De’Anthony Melton will look to fill the void left by Thompson’s departure.
Warriors fans can still get their hands on a handful of number 11 jerseys while supplies last, a reminder of the era when Thompson, Steph Curry and Draymond Green formed one of the greatest NBA trios of all time, winning four NBA titles in eight seasons.
